I graduated from Imperial College, London with a Masters degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering before completing a joint MA / MSc in Industrial Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art. I have worked in industry since 2003 and have won several awards including the AMEC Shaping the Future Award and the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Industrial Design Studentship. I have also been invited to speak on the subject of Future Power Networks by RWE nPower and been involved in the Shell Technology Enhancement Programme.
During my time at Imperial and the RCA, I have nurtured my passion for collaborative learning and knowledge sharing with a number of joint projects involving artists, designers and engineers, one of which was nominated for the Conran Design Award.
My work as a member of 1234lab has attracted international interest. This has led to work being on display at the Institute of Contemporary Arts shop and an article in Crafts magazine along with recording a vinyl dubplate with DJ Scotch Egg and Mark Clifford.
